Fire Chief 62, of Litchfield, Illinois. 
He began his fire service career with the former Gardenville Fire District. He spent 15 years with the Prairie Du Pont Fire Protection District serving East Carondelet -Dupo, IL. He taught many years at the St. Louis Fire Academy. After working at Rock Hill Fire Department for 15 years as Deputy Chief/Training Officer, he moved to Watertown, WI to become an Assistant Fire Chief. He obtained the Executive Fire Officer title from the National Fire Academy. In February 2012 he became the Fire Chief in Litchfield, Il. His wife, Vicki, survives him as well as 2 step-daughters, a sonin-law, grandson, step-mother, a brother & numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth & William Quint; 1 brother, Thomas Quint.
